Approach The Tango of Juan Martín and Stefania
Juan Martín Carrara and Stefania Colina dance with an immense respect for the tradition of tango and the music. Still they keep working on new forms of expression and their own development in the salon and on the stage. Being extremely popular teachers in Buenos Aires, Montevideo and the entire world, their classes allow one to hear and feel what is most intangible in tango. Their exquisite musicality, charm and sensibility have won them many hearts all over the globe.
History
Stefania and Juan Martin both grew up in Montevideo, Uruguay. After joining the “Orlama” dance school at the age of 4 to study ballet, Stefania graduated at the age of 17 and started teaching. Soon afterwards she joined regular tango classes and met Juan Martín.
Juan Martín was studying ballet and contemporary dance at the National Academy of Dance of Uruguay. Dancing since the age of 13 he wanted to widen his knowledge of different dance styles. That lead him to the same school that Stefania was learning at.

Workshops or regular classes, they always try to maximize the dancing of each student
Juan Martín and Stefania stand out with their clear concept of teaching Tango. No matter if they visit a town for workshops or a festival; or teach regular classes, their students will go home inspired with new ideas.
While teaching workshops, you will get as much knowledge as possible in the limited. This way you will get to know new concepts and tools to practice them at home. At the same time they never forget to show you the sensation of how it should feel to really dance tango.
At regular classes, they give you the tools to reach the next level in your dancing. Step by step you will improve technique and musicality and always see where you can go next.
